If only job interviews were as easy as the cartoon that I have pasted below....
How does one ace a job interview? Are there any tricks or tips that are worth noting?
I noticed that favorite questions by interviewers are always this:
1. Why did you leave your last job or Why do you want to leave your current job?
2. Why do you want this job or this position in our company?
I really wonder what is the use of such questions. What kind of answers do they want to hear?

i suppose they ask u those questions to find out what you really want in a job. I mean if u left a previous job because it doesn't match certain career goals of yours, they'll also want to assess to see whether (in their opinion) you'll fit into this job based on those career goals that you've defined for yourself..i mean if it the job doesn't match your goals, even if they offer you the job you'll leave soon because you are unahppy??...hahaha
ReplyDeleteI dunno...i think job interviews are subjective...it's how well they perceive you VS the other candidiates bah....
Good Luck.
Yep. Interviews are really too subjective. Different people have different opinions and views about certain things. I feel that the interview process is not objective enough.
ReplyDeleteHow would you do interviews then ?
ReplyDeleteHow would you assess whether someone is suitable or the 'best' candidate to work for you from the lot that applied ?
It is not that easy for interviewers as well remember.
